The Egbengwu Village is bounded by Ifit-Enu to the North, and Oraukwu to the West and Adazi- Nnukwu and Agukwu Nri to the East
Over the years the Village have Nkwo Oye Oji Square as their Village Square, where the Villagers perform various activities such as Conference, traditional burial rite, wrestling and other activities, this village square also served as an education center for toddlers (Ikpo -Aku) and it currently serves as a daily market
Egbengwu has been blessed with some natural resources like streams, farmlands and economic trees which are source of income to the villagers
Streams
We have the following Streams in Egbengwu
(1) Ngene (Urukwelora) Stream
(2)Nwofia (Umudu) Stream
(3)Nwa Owelle (Umudu) Stream
(4) Ngene Owa (Ndi – agu) Stream
(5) Ugwu Ula (Ndi- agu) Stream
(6)Oji – Kwa -aju (Ndi -agu) Stream
(7)Akalike (Ndi-agu ) Stream
(8) Mmili Uku (Ndi – agu) Stream
(9)Odoagba (Ogbujilikwe) Stream
These streams has been serving the villagers in the following functions
– Drinking water
-Washing of bitter leaves
-washing of Clothes
– Fermentation of cassava and other needs
There has been a maintenance culture for these streams even though some of the streams has been lost to gully erosion while others do not function optimally due partly to neglect and partly to the introduction of boreholes
Farmlands
The Village are surrounded by a Large expanse of land used for agricultural activities
These lands are also used for growing economic trees like Mangoes, Oranges,Palm trees, Cashew, Breadfruit, Plantain, Coconut etc
Culturally Egbengwu Villagers celebrate Cultural festivals like the August new yam festival,an occasion that fosters good brotherhood and family reunion with friends and well wishers from outside the town including grandsons and granddaughters (Umu Nwadiana)
